![]() Evangelistic MinistriesThe word evangelist comes from the Greek euangelion, which translates as a reward given to a messenger bringing good news (the same root also gives us the word angel). There are no restrictions set on how the good news is delivered, but as Christians we are all commissioned to deliver the good news of the gospel. When many of us hear the word evangelism we think of some of the well-known preachers with whom we are familiar, such as John Wesley, Charles Spurgeon, Dwight Moody, and Billy Graham. Through the preaching and teaching of Jay Wagner, Mark 16:15 Ministries certainly engages in this form of evangelism, partnering with churches of any Bible believing christian faith faith for both the reaching of souls and the edification of the Church. In addition, we both engage in and teach others to engage in personal evangelism through witnessing and tract distribution. In the near future we will add the publication of tracts to our ministry to help reach "every creature" with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also plan to add media ministries to our efforts. These will include online radio, podcasts, Roku, YouTube, and Vimeo channels, and shortwave radio as well as traditional broadcast radio and television wherever God opens those doors. Finally, we plan to support other ministries including church planting, missionaries, social services, disaster relief, education, and any other activity into which God leads us, with our focus always on reaching people with the gospel and bringing souls into the Kingdom of God. © 2022 Mark 16:15 Ministries, Inc. |
