Both new and more mature Christians need fellowship and Bible teaching to grow in their faith and their walk with Christ. This is supposed to be the role of the church.

Many rural communities have limited or no access to the sound, Bible based doctrine that is the job of the church. In urban areas, many churches that began with sound doctrine have strayed into doctrinal fads as they focused on trying to be bigger rather than trying to be more Christlike.

Mark 16:15 Ministries plans to launch a church planting ministry, possibly by the end of 2023. Initially we will focus on small communities and will be looking for "tentmakers" to serve as pastors, since many churches in small communities are never able to pay their pastor a livable salary and others only reach that level of financial capability after several years of hard work.
